Even though Little Bug was NOT cooperating for these pictures, we ended up with some decent pictures of both girls as well.

Well, if 4 weeks old counts as “newborn”, that is.

Tuesday I realized Sweet Pea is going to be ONE MONTH OLD this week and … I had not yet done her Newborn Photoshoot!

So the next day we went and had that done!

She isn’t the peaceful sleeping newborn you always think of when you think of a newborn photoshoot, but considering we were in and out of the hospital for the first 3 weeks of her life, this is her newborn shoot and …

I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out!

And, an extra bonus …

… a perfect picture of my two miracles together!

This is one of our favorites from the photo shoot.

We did our engagement pictures on the beach as well in 2006. I wanted to re-create a similar shot we got from engagement pictures of our family of three.

I wanted us to be kissing like we are in the picture above and I wanted Little Bug to be off doing her own thing in the background.

Just before this picture was snapped, Little Bug was off playing in the background.

But then, a helicopter flew overhead and it scared her!

She ran to her daddy and our awesome photographer snapped that priceless picture!
